 Carri Van Buskirk, Cash Management Officer, holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from St. Xavier University in Illinois. She joined GEMCOR in 2010, bringing a diverse background for customer service and computer systems. Carri's responsibilities include refunds, return of cash on hand reporting, and troubleshooting issues for clients. Carri also trains and supports clients in completing their Return of Title IV (R2T4) worksheets, helping them stay compliant and confident in their processes.

In addition to her core responsibilities, Carri assists new clients with G5 user access and federal funds bank account setup. She is also a reliable resource during audits and program reviews, providing general support and guidance when needed. Her attention to detail and commitment to client success make her an invaluable part of the GEMCOR team. 

Outside of work, Carri enjoys traveling and spending quality time with family. One of her favorite parts about working at GEMCOR is the friendships that she's built over the years—not just with co-workers, but also with the clients that we serve. She enjoys crafting, especially making jewelry, and loves bringing that same creativity and attention to detail into her professional life. Clients can expect top-level service, along with a commitment to finding the answers they need. She takes pride in being detail-oriented and ensuring that every task is completed correctly and thoroughly. One of her favorite memories at GEMCOR is attending her first holiday party, which included a Blackhawks game—it was an unforgettable experience and a reminder of how valued GEMCOR employees are. She likes to start each day with a good cup of coffee, ready to take on whatever comes next.
