Terrah Griffin, Director of Marketing & Public Relations, joined GEMCOR in 2010 while completing her Bachelor's Degree at St. Xavier University in Illinois. Over the next 15 years, she became a key member of the Computer Operations and IT Department. In 2025, Terrah transitioned into the role of Director of Marketing & Public Relations, where she now leads GEMCOR’s efforts to enhance brand visibility and client engagement. She oversees the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across digital and social media platforms, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging.

Terrah plays a key role in client onboarding and training, creating resources and experiences that empower schools to navigate Federal Student Aid processes with confidence. Her role bridges creativity and technology, and she works collaboratively across departments to align marketing, client services, compliance, and technology in support of GEMCOR’s mission and growth. In addition to her marketing responsibilities, Terrah continues to manage GEMCOR’s 1098-T division, leading the annual preparation and electronic filing of 1098-T data to ensure accuracy and compliance for client institutions. Terrah also represents GEMCOR at national educational conferences, connecting with schools, partners, and peers throughout the education community. 

What Terrah finds most rewarding about her work is the opportunity to help schools support students in achieving their educational goals—making a meaningful impact behind the scenes. Her approach to problem-solving is rooted in cross-department collaboration, believing that teamwork not only leads to better solutions but also strengthens the organization as a whole. Her passion lies in empowering teams with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Outside of work, Terrah enjoys spending quality time with her family, cheering on her kids at sporting events, taking their family dog on neighborhood walks, practicing yoga, nurturing her houseplants, and exploring personal & professional development.
