Tyler Westberg, Information Technology Programmer, joined GEMCOR in 2024 while completing his bachelor's degree requirements at Northern Illinois University with a major in Computer Science. As an associate in the Computer Operations and IT Department, Tyler's responsibilities include maintenance of in-house computer applications, TEAM user maintenance, email distribution list management, and ShareFile support and user maintenance. Tyler also contributes to GEMCOR's in-house programming updates and maintenance. He works in conjunction with Chief Information Officer, Laurie Westberg. 

Outside of work, Tyler enjoys staying active—whether it’s working out, golfing, or playing pickleball. He thrives on movement and competition, always looking for ways to challenge himself physically. What he enjoys most about his role at GEMCOR is the constant opportunity to learn and grow. He approaches each task with curiosity and creativity, finding innovative solutions to problems and pushing himself to think outside the box.
